Wandering cowrie Cypraea errones Cowries are snails with shells. When alive, they usually extend a part of their body called the mantle to cover the outer surface of the shell. They cling to the rock with their broad foot. Cowries are common under rocks, sometimes a few will be sheltering under the same rock.
