Many sea creatures live under a rock where it remains moist at low tide and it is relatively safer. If you turn over a rock, you will be amazed at what is there.

Because animals living on the upper and underside of rocks are so different, it is important to turn back rocks to the way you found them. Do this gently to avoid crushing any living creatures.
