Filefish or Leatherjacket Family Balistidae Filefish or leatherjackets have rough skin. They are slow-moving fish adapted to hiding among the seagrass and seaweed. They can change their colours and blend well with their surroundings. Filefish are sometimes seen in the pools left behind at low tide.
