Sea anemones are common on Changi. Some can be quite large and many
are elaborately patterned.
Sea anemones have a body column topped with tentacles. Armed with
stingers, these tentacles capture food and protect against predators.
Carpet anemones are also common on Changi. Some are large but many
tiny ones are found among the seagrass and seaweed. A careless step
will squash them out of existence!
